Figurative (Interior) Sculpture
Originally known as, ” beauty is in the eye of the beholder”, much like a show dog the working name is really all anyone wants to know. Behold is a male torso with mirrored pectoral muscles. (thusly, Behold). The entire torso rotates silently on the base, viewed correctly, one will catch themselves in the mirror as it rotates by. A gentleman in Portland, OR tels me the belly button is a 1942 Crosly camshaft gear, if that means anything to you.

Bliss is that feeling you imagine having if one were to leap and float effotlessly through the air. The intricate wingspan carries this torso just as it takes flight.
Bliss remains the only piece for which I was forced to buy a part. An untimely fire on his person destroyed his original figure. He was meant to have speakers for a bum and be named “talking out your ass” but tragedy stepped in, and a deadline loomed. Parts had to be found imediately, I actually went and bought a matching buttock, I have felt badly about it since.
