Spartan Fish
This is a fossilized relic of a fish that is now extinct. (if it ever existed) I have a tendency to create sculpture that looks at the structure rather than the exterior of a particular subject. For instance, my nudes not only don’t have clothes, they have no skin. 24 x 30 x 12
Splat the Gnat
If only the real thing could be so endearing. I enjoy making bugs, their absolute oddity makes for fun sculptural opportunities. Splat has a home, but many more bugs will come out of the woodwork soon. Do you have a favorite bug? 30 x 30 x 24
Spring Chicken
Spring and I had an opportunity to be photographed for the local paper. I am so pleased that his media stardom has not gone to his head. He remains a simple, down to earth kind of fellow. Spring Chicken has been adopted, but tall birds are a favorite subject, at least one new bird a year is sited in my studio. 78 x 36 x 24
